In 2018 we were pleased to obtain the opportunity with Kinross Fort Knox to start construction of their second Heap Leach. Although the purposes are the same for all Heap Leaches, this does not mean that all footprints are the same, nor their terrain. The challenges that were faced required us to become even more innovative, flexible, and determined to complete a quality product. We had an entire season of mass dewatering that required very technical pumps, construction of one of our largest underdrains at twenty feet wide, six feet deep, and thirteen-hundred feet long, as well as hauling and placing nearly half a million cubic yards of material.

We are pleased to be continuing this project in the summer season of 2019.
